Vineyard Wedding in Valpolicella

A wedding in Valpolicella countryside… this was Alexandra and Francois’s dream! Alexandra comes from London and Francois comes from Bruxelles, Belgium. They decided to tie the knot where they met and fell in love: Valpolicella. It is a wonderful green area in Veneto region countryside in North West Italy.

Destiny wanted that looking across the web they could find our thematic site on Country weddings in Italy. They met Katiuscia, our planned for Lake Garda, Verona and Venice. Katiuscia also plans wonderful weddings in Veneto Countryside across the vineyards of Valpolicella and Soave. Katiuscia is also an architect and interior designer. Great skills that Alexandra and Francis appreciated. They chose her as wedding planner for their destination wedding in the vineyards of Valpolicella.

Valpolicella is located in Veneto region and it is made of gentle hills. It is set close by Verona the city of Romeo and Juliet.
Valpolicella is well known for its vineyards. Climate and quality of its land make it perfect for wine production. This is where Amarone wine is produced.

Alexandra and Francois’ big day begun with a religious ceremony in beautiful Pieve di San Floriano, a wonderful gem full of history and art. Pieve di San Floriano is one of the most beautiful romanic churches around Verona. It is located on top of a hill with an amazing view over Valpolicella countryside and Lake Garda.

An enchanted wood for an unforgettable wedding by Valpolicella vineyards

After the ceremony bride and groom reached a villa for their wedding reception on a wonderful vintage MG Roadster. Wedding part was set in a villa in Valpolicella. A wonderful property with wine cellar and an amazing Italian garden. At the back of the villa there is a pretty English garden that seems an enchanted wood with a romantic little lake. Bride and groom decided to plan here their outdoor wedding reception. Dinner was served among ancient trees, fairy lights and candles. What a charming frame!

Bride and groom and their guests just loved it. They had a great time in a natural setting sipping Valpolicella wine. Alexandra and Francois’ wedding was a fun wedding in Valpolicella vineyards.
